The association is established in 1918 – almost one hundred years ago – under the name of Ernst-Ludwigs-Hochschulgesellschaft. Currently it has about 2.700 members as well as 110 company-members and supports science in research and teaching at the TU Darmstadt.

The association wants to gain a great and dedicated circle of friends to support its goals which are:

• to secure the science-capacities and the high level of education at the TU Darmstadt also in the future with appropriate measures of support,
• to encourage the communication between the university and business companies and to enlarge existing contacts,
• to prepare students for the manifold tasks in their relevant professional experience and to increase their chances of market entries.

To continue pursuing these targets the association depends on your membership as well as your donation. Become a member of the association for the good Darmstadts alma mater.
